Episode 203: Answering the call with Called to Create by Jordan Raynor
Listen as we talk about following our calling—it’s about more than just finding purpose
My Business Soul Mate
I HAVE HAD MORE THAN ONE BUSINESS IN MY LIFE. AS A VOCAL COACH, I WAS QUITE SUCCESSFUL BUT IT JUST DIDN’T FEEL RIGHT…
I was able to support myself, and I even loved what I did…but it still just didn’t fill my soul the way I hoped it would. Then, like it did for so many other business owners, Covid changed the game. Sure, I could teach online but that was not what I dreamed of doing for my vocal students!
Then, I started wondering, maybe this isn’t the business I’m supposed to be growing. It certainly served its purpose, teaching me much of what I know about running a business by myself, but I felt called to a greater purpose.
This is exactly what Jordan Raynor is talking about in his book Called to Create. I am also a Faith-filled business owner and Jordan’s perspective helped me to see God’s hand in my business.
Regardless of what you believe, I hope you get as much out of this book as I did!
